RespectDude Joaquin Phoenix is amesome. Very Talented. Cassey Affleck is a creator. This is going to be a very prominent documentary. If he does not win an academy award all you haters should reconsider what you think proves to be a good movie. This a once in life time piece film that hasen't been made before. Cherish it, and respect it.

STOP HATINGYALL ARE HATERS.
If this was some **** arist, actor, tv star, etc. Then yes, it's a bull**** movie. But this guy is a Legit actor. Very Legit. This movie will be a good insight to why Famous people go crazy, i'm sure there are other movies on the same topic. But this seems to be more full blown & raw.
I really hope it won't disapoint.

NooooSelf indulgent tripe for both him and Affleck, you are not talented artists or creationists, poor choice of format for a docufilm!

UnworthyI really like him as an actor, but this seems to me like a final and desperate attempt to win the OSCAR....unworthy

PolarizingWell at the very least we can all agree that it's a polarizing work.

antihumor or kaufman-esque. either wayI think it's awesome. Maybe he's playing a big joke on the country in which case GOOD. I mean would you rather he go the route of say, adrian brody and just pop out ANOTHER summer action movie. he did something different. yay. if he did in fact have a real meltdown and is not doing so great well, that sucks but at least he'll make some dough off it.

Mockumentary“It’s a put-on. I’m going to pretend to have a meltdown and change careers, and Casey is going to film it.” -Joaquin Phoenix
