In the immediate aftermath of September 11, Jake and Andrew tried, like everyone else, to numb the pain and anguish of seeing their home attacked. A year later, the hangover still lingers. Andrew spends his days on Wall Street, and Jake has given up writing fiction to cover sports. But now Andrew has a plan, it is a plan with no plan; ditch New York and hit the road, going nowhere.
