hmmI dont like to judge films based on their trailers but i like to see JLaw's acting flexiblity when it comes to genres. I give her that much for taking on something different. As a horror fan ill be catching this one. Originality? Not so sure. Performances? i think it'll do ok. Cheers!

so it beginswhat'd I tell you? soon as they're done with hunger games, they all flock to the next jennifer lawrence movie. How old are you 'Patti'? 16? 18? I mean seriously, are you just going to defend every movie j-lawrence is in just cuz she's in it?
And yes, I like to think of myself as a reader of sorts. The plot states (and I quote):
"A mother and daughter move to a new town and find themselves living next door to a house where a young girl murdered her parents."
Now I don't know if YOU can read, but it clearly states 'house' in the plot. And then *dramatic gasp* oh look there it is again! In the friggin MOVIE NAME!
So, my dear friend Patti, when you're done attacking people over their innocent opinions, why don't you go back to jerking off to Twilight movies, okay?

Can you Read?maybe if you researched this movie you'd see that it's not about a haunted house at all.. It actually sounds pretty interesting and what this trailer does is called "not giving everything away" And i am a fan of the hunger games and i think jennifer lawrence is a fantastic actress, soo go find something else to complain about.

i concur, good sirseconded, Cheese.
this looks beyond lame. and i saw both dream house and silent house and both were pretty predictable.
i would add 'don't be afraid of the dark' with katie holmes (i never saw the movie but from the trailers...) because that was sorta a haunted house movie right?

yawnwow, a haunted house. how original...
seriously, we haven't had enough haunted house movies in the last year or so?
silent house with elizabeth olsen?
dream house with daniel craig?
are they thinking that as soon as all the jennifer lawrence fanboys and girls are done whetting their appetite with hunger games, they'll come see this?
I don't think so, Tim.
