It was the news the world breathlessly waited for after the 9/11 terror attacks: a report of the first American troops on the ground in Afghanistan. All at once, attention focused on an iconic photo of teams of Special Operations Forces riding horses into combat. Ten years later, that photo would go on to inspire an artist to sculpt an 18 feet-tall monument at Ground Zero. Narrated by actor and vet Gary Sinise.
