Trailer
Trailer for Gulliver's Travels.
In a contemporary re–imagining of the classic tale, Jack Black stars as Gulliver, a big–talking mailroom clerk who, after he's mistakenly assigned a travel piece on the Bermuda Triangle, suddenly finds himself a giant among men when he washes ashore on the hidden island of Lilliput, home to a population of very tiny people. At first enslaved by the diminutive and industrious Liliputians, and later declared their hero, Gulliver comes to learn that it’s how big you are on the inside that counts.

I'm interested...It's not gonna be that bad. In fact, I look forward to watching Guilliver's Travels. Jack Black *can* be pretty funny.

yyyyeeeeaaaahhhhh.............not really interested. I like when previews contrast the real and the fantastic, but this one spent too much time on the former and barely any on the later.

@ Jayrew and a-parkmanBoth of you can go **** yourselves.
Unless I am mistaken ofcourse.
Because it sounds like you wish Jack Black was dead, so that Heath Ledger could come back to life?
Trade Jack for Heath?
So unless I am mistaken ofcourse.
Both of you can go **** yourselves for your ******* statement.

not promisingOnce again contempory retelling equals missing the point. Nice to see that a social commentary piece has been boiled down to stupid pranks and jokes. Just like Guess Who's Coming to Dinner.
The only reason why I would watch this movie is for Catherine Tate. I love her!

I Know It's a ComedyI realize it's a comedy, but the scene with the foosball table seemed sort of creepy.

Stick to supporting roles Jack.I like Jack Black, but I don't have a good feeling about this one. I think maybe Jack should stick to being a supporting character, which he does very well usually.

Just not funny.Ben Stiller tied up by cowboys and Roman soldiers in Night at the Museum, now that was funny. Jack Black needs to resign himself to being the voice of a Panda for the rest of his career.
