"Funny People"

If you are looking to see a side-splitting comedy, this is not one. But it is a great movie. I just wish I could find a listing of all the music that was in the movie, because I want to purchase some of them.

Eric & Adam

Not sure how I feel about this movie but I would see it simply for Bana and Sandler. Although I am hoping it is a little different from Apatow's other films.

love it

Can't wait to see it. Apatow never fails me. I love all of his movies. It's real life with a funny twist. And I love Adam Sandler in more serious rolls.

Stupid Trailer

The movie looks funny and good, but it looks like the twist was taken away with this stupid thing. It looks great just don't understand why they blew the whole story..

Nice to see another change of pace

It's been awhile sincfe Adam did a part that leans more toward drama at the same time dealing with comedy. I hope the trailer didn't give the whole story. If it did I would be quite disappointed.

I don't understand the low rating this trailer is getting. Are you people pissed that Super Troopers hasn't had a sequel yet? Or that Will Ferrel isn't in this or something?
Yeah it shows alittle too much but aside from that, it looks genuinely funny. Apatow films (the ones he directs, anyway) seem to be the only comedies of recent years that are laugh out loud funny AND have a good dramatic storyline.

Poor Eric

So Eric Bana plays a nice guy, good dad (again to Judd Apatow's annoying spawn) and husband who cheats on Leslie Mann like, one time, and for that he gets his accent badly mocked and loses a girl to that miserable tool Adam Sandler. Ouch. (Oh, and shout out to flabbybuns - yeah, I think that was the entire film, plus deleted scenes.)

James L. Apatow?

Maybe this could be kind of like Freaks and Geeks for adults but after watching the trailer my expectations for this film have been lowered. Not only do we see what seems to be most of the movie but it plays like a melodrama. This one could test the Apatow brand name because right now it looks like a rental.

Adam Sandler

Adam Sandler actually looks like he does a great job in this role. This was not what I was expecting from Apatow.
