Evil is resurrected in a small town threatening to destroy mankind and the only force that can stop it is a young man wielding a powerful sword.

Jacob (Jordan Matthews ), a young man armed with a deadly sword, saves Sarah (Hallee Hirsh ), a teenage girl, from Mathias (Brad Dourif ), a malevolent evil that has begun plaguing a small farmland town while in search of an ancient necklace that had belonged to Sarah’s Uncle (Thomas Ian Nicholas ).

Jacob sets out to get Sarah home safely, running through streets, fields, churches and underground tunnels, while being pursued

Looks awful

This looks so dumb. The effects are terrible.
Just watch the trailer and look for the people running after the girl and guy. So funny.

Then there's the fight scenes that look like they are from some bad video game. Almost stop motion at times

Is this by any chance a movie created from the Twilight people? Either that or Harry Potter. It just seems to remind me of both. A little older though I would add. I'n not sure why this is the biggest thing in the world it seems. I do like that there's some action which I don't usually tend to see and they have a great actor for the bad guy. I'll have to see this for the additional elements. Maybe they will surprise me this time and will have made something a bit unique. It just seems to me that all these people care about is making money. I remember a time when it just seemed like movies were made by artists who didn't care as much about making all this money, it was just about making art. Oh well, maybe I will be in for a surprise. Guess I'll have to see.
