The trailer for Everything Must Go.
Everything Must Go tells the story of a career salesman whose days of being on top are long gone. The same day Nick gets fired, for falling off the wagon one last time, he returns home to discover his wife has left him, changed the locks on their suburban home and dumped all his possessions out on the front yard. Faced with his life imploding, Nick puts it all on the line - or more properly, on the lawn - reluctantly holding a yard sale that becomes a unique strategy for survival.

Everything Must GoWill Ferrell is one of my favorite actors... His comedic timing and priceless expressions put him at the top of Hollywood’s funny men, so you may question his casting as a depressed alcoholic who loses his job, wife and dignity (on the same day) in Lionsgate’s sobering Everything Must Go. Why indeed? Although, he delivers a darn good performance, the film (and specifically its subject matter) ties itself down in a sea of misery. Note to Hollywood: Enough with depressing themes... I thought movies were supposed to provide a break from reality.

finallyFinally, a Will Ferrell film I', actually interested in seeing. About time he shook that same stupid persona he's had in EVERY movie for the 15 years.
