Trailer for Edge of Darkness.

Edge of Darkness centers on a veteran cop (Gibson) whose only grown-up child (Novakovic) is murdered on the steps of his home. The cop unearths his daughter's secret life and discovers a world of corporate cover-ups and government collusion. Huston takes on the role of a shady businessman while Roberts will play the role of the daughter's distraught boyfriend.

im a bit disapointed in his boston accent, however this movie was filmed on MY street. it was amazing, especially when they sent the car in to the river!! all in all im stoked.

Name of Remake?

At first I was thinking it was gonna be a typical revenge movie, but with the whole underlying plot relating to the daughter, it does look like it has a lot of potential & I wouldn't mind getting my hands on the original mini-series if someone could give me its name.

Remake

Saw State of Play, which was a BBC minseries, and that was just as good as its british counterpart. Hopefully this turns out good too.

This definitely reminded me of Taken, if just a bit. Looks dark and gritty and Gibson sure still has his acting chops.

Remake

So ... they finaly get round to remaking the mid-1980's BBC TV series ! The British cop is now a yank ... his CIA mate is now a Brit ... and around 6 hours of TV is now goning to be a single movie. Hmmmm .... recomend you check out the original !
