Downstream is the story of a young man, Wes Keller, left to fend for himself as the world ended. Oil has run out. Crops have died. Groups of ruthless killers roam the land looking for anything, and anyone, who might be traded for what few goods remain. It is a grim picture painted of a potentially not-too-distant future. But there is hope. Rumors have spread of a city that exists, built before the world turned into a barren wasteland. Wes searches to find what may very well be the last chance for our survival.

Me to a tea

Just discovered this one the other day. Have the DVD on order and thought I'd check out the trailer. Looks like a good solid B movie. Not afraid to make a bit of fun of itself. I like it. Can't wait for the full film.

A TV Series on the Big/Small Screen...

Just like most other TV Series / Mini-Series showes, this big (or small) screen movie gathers a few unknown actors together behind a desent script, that if added-to, could have (or may have) been structured to be a good TV Series made for A&E, FX, HBO, Showtime, SPIKE, Sci-Fi, or even TNT. With character development and added actor screen time, 'Downsteam' could have a start in something new and untouched. The 'Mad Max' of TV Series. 'Downsteam' has lots of potential if delivered right. BRAVO to Philip Y. Kim.
