Looks Sick Can't Wait!

So I saw this browsin through trailers and I almost crapped myself! I'm so glad that somethin unique is comin out in this genre! Ill admit I like the books in the Twilight saga but not so much the movies! Give me an edgy realistic take on Vampires and I'm yours for the daking!!!

I don't know what agency did this trailer or the trailer for TERMINATOR SALVATION, but putting crappy music in your trailer IS NOT WORKING! TERMINATOR had Nine in Nails in their trailer, and it was just odd and jarring. It didn't add any "dark or edgy" feel to it at all. It was just stupid. The same goes for this trailer. It ruins the trailer, which visually looks cool.

Trust me people, you aren't nearly as fed up with this genre as you're going to be in 2011. Having said that, I must admit I have high hopes for this movie. It looks like an honest to goodness thriller with a fresh story to tell.
If I see one more "I was a teenaged emo vamp" movie, I will, quite possibly, lose my shit.

It's a very good idea combining our local top talent with some of the Us big guns (yes referring to Dafoe and Hawk) its a awesome combination. Hope to see more of it down the track..

I agree with cavemanweston, this is a good spin on the whole vampire myth. I will definitely keep an eye on this. Hopefully the trailer isn't the only thing that is good.

This movie will Hopefully put a good twist on the whole vampire scene which has pretty much been destroyed since Twilight, the only thing left is the talked about sequel to 30 days of night, and the remake of Near Dark...

Dugganaut, check the credits and perhaps do your research too hehe, yeah Aussies are all over the shop as R-dawg mentioned, Claudia Karvan is an Aussie (she is definitely in the trailer). As is Vince Colosimo Aussie (heard him speaking in the trailer though didnt see him. As is Isabel Lucas also Aussie, As is Robyn Moore and well... almost every single other actor in this movie, with the exception of the Kiwi actors and maybe one or two American actors. Hehe, Go The Aussies!

Looks like a good movie, new take on Vampires which is cool. Always wondered why a race thats stronger, faster and just generally hard to kill would need to hide from us?

Dude, "daybraker" this basically is a new idea. Vampires pretty much being the majority, the few humans left trying to cure them and all that. Looks pretty sweet if you ask me. Also, learn how to at least spell the title.
