hmmmmm.

Looks like someone might have actually read an original howard story..Finally! As an old Howard fan , it has disappointed me through the years that no-one has ever made a halfway decent adeptation of one of his stories. Maybe this one won't be so f,n tongue-in-cheek like the other ones.

Actually, since a few of us were treated to an advance viewing (well, the first 45 minutes) it was freaking GREAT! For all of you who are making statements and have not seen anything other than the 2:45 of the trailer, step off. They (the producers) grab us as we got off the planes at MCAS Cherry Point and screeened it for us. Also there was Jason Momoa...really kool guy, he could easily past as a Marine. Matter of fact, we did give him a couple of Force Recon t-shirts.

Epic Fail.

Costumes look horrible. Like the clothes were ironed or something.

Fighting style...same stupid jumping sword thrust from Troy, 300 --omg, get some new fight directors!

The music is recycled. When you hear the score by Basil Poledouris, you think of the 80s Conan. They should have used the Smurf theme...People would remember that more than they will this movie.

Did Func*m jinx this movie too? It looks like the game, and prolly will fail like it too.

yeah we hate everything

EPIC. It looks like they created a very large and believable world. I like that it's a sort of alternate world filled with sorcery, evil, and war. The sand-zombies look really cool, or whatever they are. I just hope the story is compelling enough to carry the weight. But I guess it's easy for people to just say it looks like garbage, whereas others actually appreciate the art of filmmaking, or at least just try to enjoy a movie for what it is.
