For years, there have been documented cases of UFO sightings around the world – Buenos Aires, Seoul, France, Germany, China. But in 2011, what were once just sightings will become a terrifying reality when Earth is attacked by unknown forces. As people everywhere watch the world's great cities fall, Los Angeles becomes the last stand for mankind in a battle no one expected. THIS MOVIE

Well it has been three weeks now and my daughter has got every battlefeild L.A. or some variation fo the title and this is the third one .I got it at f=red box and I hope it is finally the movie WE want to see.!

Thoses E.T chose the wrong city in L.A whit the ammount of firearms owned by the 100k street gangs members im pretty sure L.A might stand a chance Im sure a world invasion would be very hard from a logistic standpoint this movie gonna be very good Imo lets hope there a sequel.

Great trailer

Deff an a sweet teaser trailer, great music choice. Although this seems like a constant replay of end of the world films- it has a different flare to it. Pretty excited.

Awesome!

Got to see a special screening of this movie a few months back and it was awesome! It's action-packed and the cast is great! A mix of District 9 with Black Hawk Down. Can't wait to see it again when it comes out. Great trailer and I love the song used.

It's a TEASER - of course it's not going to reveal

Apparently some people posting here don't grasp the difference between a TEASER and a TRAILER proper.

TEASERS, as a rule of thumb "do not reveal EVERYTHING in 30 seconds."

All in all though, I'd have to say that my first impression of the movie is a positive one.

I completely agree that District 9 was absolutely genius, but I also think this movie looks fantastic. That is as long as it keeps the tone of the trailer.

What the hell is wrong with some of you? DIstrict 9 was boring? no! it was smart, it had heart, it had action, and the academy recognized this as well. this looks like micheal bay directed D9. I saw nothing but explosions. doubt this will be that good

i know there seems to be a lot of crappy alien invasion movies lately.....but i kinda like how this one looks, the whole realisitc view of it from the soldier's point of view
