A 33 year old high school janitor, still bitter about his failure to live out his dream as a world-class tennis pro, befriends the school's tennis coach and team - a sorry group of outcasts, and soon he becomes their coach. Things are going smoothly, but coach eventually screws up and gets fired. Luckily, he gets one last chance to prove everyone wrong and leads the team to the state championship.
