EthicsI'm sorry but this really is a very misleading trailer for a very imsleading movie. First off, the trailer antagonizes it's own ally! David Melson of Affirmation LDS a group that SUPPORTS gay mormons is quoted as saying "it would be better to be dead than homosexual". This whole film is just one big smear campaign against a religion that happened to be in the middle of a MUCH larger issue. The Mormons were not solely responsible for Prop 8....and their Prophet never actually said to vote for the issue...the Church itself took a stance but did not command the members to do so.
I don't care what side you're on....making a FAIR documentary is ethics 101.

This video is a joke right?considering that only 20-30% of the people that voted against proposition 8 were mormon i think this video is just another way homosexual people are using to lash out. I am Mormon and i have gay friends. I don't care if the hav civil unions and the same rights as married indivivduals as long as that it isn't called marriage and doesnt violate my religious rights. Calling it marriage would because they would be forcing us to let them marry inside a Temple. Which would be desecration, and all my homosexual friend understand that. Proposition 8 was about denying rights it was about protecting our rights.

Disagree with AshtonI disagree with you. I have lived in Utah all of my life and all of the Mormons that I have met are Homophobic. They are exactly how they are in this video. And how Obama comes into this I have no Idea, but 1. Check your sources. 2. Learn to spell, its Hispanic and "scapegoat". 3. I live with Mormons, I am surrounded by them. My best friends are Mormons. And most of them are sheltered and do not know how to speak for themselves. They are very homophobic and they do say it is better to be dead than gay. Because in their religion they are not born gay, you give into Satans "evil ways" They believe you choose to be gay.

LieI think it's funny to blame the Mormons, when most of the people that came out to vote were for Obama.... Black and Hepanic. The Mormons are an easy escape goat. A lot of the film is made to make mormons look like the enemy. but most people who are smart know that mormons are not like that.
