Love this movie. Can't wait for it to come out on DVD. Armageddon was good. So was the Day After Tomorrow

It may end up being a "cheesy" movie but I am going for the special effects and to hear Adam Lambert sing the closing credits song "Time for Miracles".

I don't expect it to be believable - so just take it light hearted. Only hope that all the great effects have not been shown in the trailers...

Looks like a really good movie. So excited to see it. The reason why some people may not like it is because they may take it too seriously. I know it's a disaster film, but you are supposed to have a good time with this sort of genre.

THe latest trailer looks real silly. I want to like this movie, but come on after the special effects even the trailer is bad. Surviving the impossible every moment is not realistic and you never think Cusack and his family are ever in real danger. I looks stupid. I wish I could say something better but it really looks like CG that is all. The airplane scene is really dumb. Why did the fool keep flying at the same low height. He even went down to street level.

Hey idiot, your in a plane you can go UP! Instead of going under the falling buildings - here is a thought - go over them.

Looks like typical Roland Emmerich. I somewhat liked Independence Day but since then his movies have just been more and more ludicrous with worse looking CGI as he goes. Makes Star Wars: Ep. 1 CGI look excellent. Can't believe all the positive comments. Probably explains why cinema is in decline.

The CG in this is a goosebump giver.

Now with John Cusac, is interesting, in the last 2 movies i saw him (1408 & War Inc) his acting shows tranquility and funny situations.
The CGI on this movie is in other levels!
