The Legend of Tarzan Conquer Trailer (2016)
Final trailer for The Legend of Tarzan, also known as the "Conquer" trailer, that was released a couple weeks out from the film's theatrical release on July 1st, 2016.
Tarzan, having acclimated to life in London, is called back to his former home in the jungle to investigate the activities at a mining encampment.
One of the primary reasons that Alexander Skarsgård took on the role of Tarzan is because of his dad, Stellan Skarsgård, who has a minor obsession over Tarzan stories. To prep for the role, Alexander had to train for four months non-stop, with little time for breaks, nor was he allowed to socialize with friends and family. Even though he's captured the look, Alexander doesn't feel he competes with Johnny Weissmuller.
While the past few trailers for The Legend of Tarzan were sure to sell a grand adventure in the most Stargate way possible, it seems like the marketing team felt like they weren't giving the film the best portrayal. Pumping the accelerator on bat-shit crazy, this new and final trailer is entirely focused on the thrills, action and effects to be seen. Though shorter than the previous looks at the film, this latest rendition definitely leaves an impressions.
