Paul Morris (Paul Moder) is a typical bloke with a loving wife Helen (Helen Hopkins) and young child (Emma Rose Hillary) with a very non typical job. Paul is a low rent hitman! But like all working class guys, Paul is struggling to make ends meet and is dreaming of that 'one big job' that will establish his reputation and set him and his family up for life. The only problem is that Paul's best mate George (Kevin Hopkins)is sabotaging his 'hits' at every turn and blackmailing Paul's wife into making pornography with him because Paul's child is really his. George is in love with Helen and is also battling a serious Oedipus complex.

On a job one day, Paul is caught red handed by feisty female police officer Matty McKlean (Carolyn Bock) Paul has just killed her husband but she doesn't care as Matty is a party girl with a taste for handcuffs. At gunpoint she has sex with Paul and thus begins their affair.

Because of his many screw ups on the job, Paul and George are on the outer with Eva Drucker (Dawn Klingberg) their boss. Paul is getting deeper and deeper in his affair with Matty and things are not happy at home...
