In an age of CGI overload and digital dependance, "The Oracle" for Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters was a refreshing return to old-school puppetry. Encapsulating various techniques, The Oracle featured animatronics and both rod and cable operation with only slight lighting effects added in post. Here you'll see the design along with the fantastic sculpting skills of Paul Komoda (maquette) and Aki Ikeda (full-size) as well as her final look on set. Courtesy of ADI.
