Brett Ratner Offers Heated Response To X-MEN: THE LAST STAND Haters

The douchiest director in Hollywood, Brett Ratner, doesn’t like that his X-Men: The Last Stand film is getting trashed on by comic book fans, and movie geeks. I admit it, I hated X-Men: The Last Stand and still feel that he ruined the franchise. To this response Ratner takes a last stand of his own, [...]
The film revolves around George (Sandler) a very successful stand up comedian who learns that he has an untreatable blood disorder and is given less than a year to live. Ira (Rogen) is a struggling up-and-coming stand up comedian who works at a deli and has yet to figure out his onstage persona. One thing [...]

Despite the combined starpower of Amy Adams, Emily Blunt, and Alan Arkin, and a Sundance pedigree, Sunshine Cleaning didn't turn into the hit it was intended to be this spring. But the movie's director Christine Jeffs is keeping on, now signed on to direct Wonderful Tonight, a movie about a one-night stand that leads to an unplanned pregnancy and a surprising relationship.
Yes, this description-- coming from Variety-- sounds a whole lot like Knocked Up. But the man in question ...
Who wants to go see Stand Up 360 for free in St Louis?
The folks over at Wehrenberg were kind enough to give us some passes for our readers to go see ‘Stand Up 360′. What is ‘Stand Up 360′ you ask? Well here is a description:

Though X-Men Origins: Wolverine couldn't stand up to the critics, the film, taking advantage of an already-strong franchise and fanbase, enjoyed a Blob-strength opening weekend. Taking in an estimated $87 million, the film has quickly become the best non-holiday bow for 20th Century Fox.
Box Office Report: X-Men Origins: Wolverine Wolverine also did excellent overseas. The prequel grossed $73 million from 101 territories to bring its worldwide opening to exactly $160 million. The film did so well globally that it represents the best opening ever in plenty of those international markets.
Though strong, the film still couldn't stand up to X-Men: The Last Stand's $102 million opening over Memorial Day weekend back in 2006. In all fairness, Wolverine is the better of the two pictures and, if it did have a holiday to open on, it might have achieved similar domestic numbers.
20th Century Fox's "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" grossed $87 million from 4,099 theaters at the domestic box office and another $73 million from foreign markets. That's the second-best opening of the four "X-Men" movies after "X-Men:The Last Stand," which had the advantage in opening over Memorial Day in 2003. "Last Stand" grossed more than $102 million for the four-day holiday weekend.
7 Thinly-Veiled Stand-Ins for Dick Cheney
Wednesday, April 29, 2009 3:49 PM | From Spout Blog
All comparisons between Dick Cheney and Darth Vader were rendered moot recently when George Lucas told Maureen Dowd, of The New York Times, George Bush is Darth Vader. Cheney is the emperor. In response to that clarification, David Edelstein wrote a piece in this weeks New York magazine in which he attempts to find another [...]
Want to see what the WATCHMEN Red Carpet was really like -- Then click here to see Steve stand up by the Owl Ship and see the carpet before the celebrities arrived
As most of you have already seen, over the past few days Ive posted a ton of interviews from the Los Angeles premiere of Watchmen. To be honest, I thought I was done with everything, but I just remembered I shot one other thing... Since 99% of you will never have a chance to stand on the red carpet of a premiere and see what it's really like, I did whats called a stand-up on the yellow carpet at the premiere. A stand-up is where the person on camera talks to everyone watching and describes where they are and whats going on. While I rarely do this kind of stuff, I thought you might like to see what a premiere is like before all the celebrities get there and while its relatively quiet. So if you want to see Nite Owls ship and what the Watchmen premiere was like when I first got there, take a look. And if you missed the interviews, ...
