Korean film The Chaser is one of my favorite films coming out of Asia recently. It's already being remade by William Monahan (Departed) and Leonardo DiCaprio, so that says something about it. The movie is as suspenseful as Manhunter or Silence of The Lambs, it even has a bit of Taken thrown in there. It focuses on a ex-cop who is now a pimp and his girls start disappearing. This leads him to a murderous client but the police don't believe one of the girls is still alive. The ex-cop starts a frantic search knowing she's in trouble.

Written by scribes Russell Leigh Sharman, Owen Egerton and Chris Mass, Bobbie Sue centers on a hard-charging female ambulance chaser whose mindset makes her the ideal candidate to be the face of a prestigious law firm when a powerful client is sued in a sexual discrimination case.
As far as one can tell, no director has been picked up just yet. And, with Diaz only in negotiations, the film also has no star just yet.
