Mia Wasikowska And Michael Fassbender Starring In Jane Eyre

Every now and then a young actor manages to snap up so many roles before they make a big debut that they start to seem like a star even before the vast majority of moviegoers have ever laid eyes on them. It happened recently to Sam Worthington, who was the star of Avatar even before most of us saw him for the first time in Terminator: Salvation, and now it seems to be the case for fellow Aussie Mia Wasikowska. ...

Sam Worthington Attached To Yet Another Genre Film
Thursday, November 19, 2009 5:28 PM | From Latino Review
Man, Sam Worthington is getting a lot of work as of late. He has signed to appear in a filmed adaptation of the upcoming Radical Publishing title 'The Last Days of American Crime'.The comic book, created and written by Rick Remender and illustrated by Greg Tocchini, is a heist thriller told against a sci fi backdrop. In a near-future America, news has broken that, in a matter of weeks, the government is set to roll out mind-control technology that will kill the criminal impulse in all citizens. Chaos descends on America's cities as the country braces for the new order. Career criminal Graham Brick is forced to accelerate the heist of his career with an untested new crew in order to beat the deadline. What could possibly go wrong?Worthington, seen recently in 'Terminator: Salvation' and returning next month in James Cameron's 'Avatar' will take the role of Kevin Cash, the safecracker who (along with his beautiful girlfriend Shelby) is enlisted in the heist at the last minute.Well, we shall see. Worthington failed to impress in "Terminator 4." In his defense, I guess that can be attributed to the crappy writing as much as his performance - how can you make a Terminator movie, yet have John Connor play second fiddle to a Robocop wanna be loner with a heart of gold walking cliche who is trying to retain his humanity while macking on hot chicks in the nuclear wasteland? I guess he still has "Avatar," "Clash of the Titans," and now this to prove me wrong.Source: Mania
Sam Worthington To Star In American Crime
Thursday, November 19, 2009 12:32 PM | From Screen Rant
Rising star Sam Worthington continues to build quite a career for himself: he’s already starred in Terminator Salvation, and has both James Cameron’s Avatar and the remake of Clash of the Titans on deck, two huge properties I think you’ll agree. Now, adding to that ever-growing list of Worthington movies is The Last Days of [...]
Sam Worthington Books Another One: Adaptation of The Last Days of American Crime
If you're making a big budget action or genre picture these days, one of the first names to attach seems to be Sam Worthington. That's what working with Cameron and being in a Terminator movie will do for a guy. And, despite the highly forgettable nature of Terminator: Salvation, I liked Worthington well enough in the film. Not as much as I enjoyed Anton Yelchin, but no big deal.
But I still have a 'wait and see' attitude for anything announced (or, in some cases, 'announced') with Worthington as a primary attachment. Tell me the guy may topline a heist film with sci-fi overtones, however, and I perk up really fast.
Mania's Comics2Film reports that Worthington has signed to appear in the cast of The Last Days of American Crime, an adaptation of the comic series of the same name. Creator Rick Remender gave the site the news, and describes his book ...
Terminator rights looking to change hands...again.
Thursday, November 19, 2009 11:48 AM | From MovieJungle
"Terminator" rights may be looking to change hands once again. According to the Los Angeles Times, Derek Anderson and Victor Kubicek, who acquired the franchise for $25 million in 2007 and produced this year's "Terminator Salvation," are looking to sell the rights fully or partially as several companies the duo own are working their way through bancruptcy.
Kubicek and Anderson's Halcyon Holding Group has hired FTI Capital Advisors to "evaluate strategic alternatives" according to a statement.
Since the first "Terminator" was released back in 1984, the franchise rights have changed hands more frequently than any other Hollywood film series.
James Cameron directed and co-wrote the original film alongside future wife Gale Anne Hurd.
Sam Worthington Signs on for Adaptation of Upcoming Comic Series THE LAST DAYS OF AMERICAN CRIME
Thursday, November 19, 2009 9:40 AM | From Collider
Here’s hoping that Sam Worthington is the real deal. He was good in Terminator Salvation (although he had some trouble nailing down an American accent and occasionally lapsed back into his native Australian) but he’ll have to win over audiences in a big way with his leading performances in Avatar and Clash of the Titans [...]
DVD Review Terminator TSCC Season 2

Following on from the spectacular first season, Terminator: The Sarah ...
A directors cut version of Terminator Salvation is coming to Bluray on December 1st. It begs the question what new things will the directors cut feature? I doubt a directors cut can redeem the films failures for me but I would rather buy it then the theatrical release.
I would imagine it features an alternate ending since we all know there is another ending out there that has one hell of a twist to it ( whether it was shot or not we do not know ). Clearly the directors cut will also feature the Moon Bloodgood Topless scene but what else will be on it? Unknown my friends.. unknown.
