He spent all that time training in the mountains with Liam Neeson and what does Batman have to show for it? Just a larynx full of gravel, apparently. CollegeHumor released a video today showing that Batman’s ability to disappear while other people are talking still needs some work. The sketch also features one of the [...]

Rob Cohen is a definite hit-or-miss director and depending on your taste in films I would say he most often falls on the “miss” side of things with such recent releases as The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor and Stealth. However, I don’t mind watching his original Fast and the Furious installment or even [...]
I thought actor Josh Lucas might have the potential to be a "Next Big Thing", but while he's been in some high-profile movies... those movies have unfortunately been STEALTH and POSEIDON. Oops.
He's taken it down in scale for the Poe-inspired horror flick TELL TALE, making its debut at the Tribeca film festival. The synopsis: Terry (Josh Lucas) is a struggling, single father whose life is finally looking up after becoming the recent recipient of a successful heart transplant. With...

The post-apocalyptic comic AFTERBURN is being adapted to feature film by producer/webslinger Tobey Maguire and noise machine Neal Moritz (of STEALTH, XXX and FAST AND FURIOUS infamy), and now the project has a writer.
Matt Johnson is working on the script, and this makes me happy for a couple of reasons: he wrote INTO THE BLUE and TORQUE. While BLUE is a guilty pleasure (if only for bikini Alba and the underwater flaying of Josh...

Black Dynamite Red Band Movie Trailer 2 (What the What!?!)
“But Black Dynamite, I sell drugs to the community.” With this new red band trailer, Black Dynamite officially blazes its way onto the Most Anticipated List. Way back in July, the buzzing stealth passion project from writer/director, Scott Sanders, and writer/star, Michael Jai White, miraculously won me over by making exhausted, semi-ironic blaxploitation homage seem [...]
