What if Quentin Tarantino directed a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live-action movie? Aron created this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Reservoir Dogs mash-up over a year ago, but it has just begun to make the viral internet video rounds over the weekend. Watch it now after the jump.

Paramount announced back in April that they plan on making a new live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It won’t be released until 2012, so for those looking for a TNMT fix to hold them over until then, here’s an extremely well done trailer mash-up of our favorite “Heroes in a Half Shell”, and Quentin Tarantino’s Resevoir [...]
Faces of Old Dogs
Thursday, November 12, 2009 9:48 AM | From Joblo.Com
As if we need further proof that there can be a blog about anything on earth, I present to you Faces of Old Dogs, a tumblr site created by Jason Woliner which is exactly what it sounds like.
Apparently in the trailers and clips released for OLD DOGS so far, there have been a number of rather absurd faces made by the actors involved, so many, that Jason thought it deserved its own blog. Sadly, I don't think the...

Wilson is Going to the Dogs
Tuesday, November 3, 2009 9:54 AM | From Latino Review
Fresh off of Fox's tear-jerking Marly & Me, Owen Wilson has decided to give his career to the dogs -- or, more specifically, to an overgrown Great Dane.
According to the latest from The Hollywood Reporter, Wilson has signed on to voice Marmaduke, the main character of the comic strip by the same name. The movie, which, like Garfield before it, will be part live-action and part CG, will follow the Winslow family as they move to Orange County from Kansas with Marmaduke.
Wilson isn't the only celeb voice to grace the film either. As the script will involve a Mutts vs. Pedigrees turf war, expect to see dogs voiced by Fergie, Emma Stone, George Lopez, Damon Wayans, Marlon Wayans, Steve Coogan, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse. The human cast, meanwhile, will consist of Judy Greer, William H. Macy, and Lee Pace.

Rue Morgue Cinema in association with Someone At The Door Productions have announced that will be heading into feature films now. First up is a remake of the Spanish/Italian western Condenados a vivir. Rodrigo Guidino will be directing and adapted the script with Joseph O'Brien for Cut Throats Nine. Starring will be Harvey Keitel (Reservoir Dogs), Mads Mikkelsen and Roy Dupuis.
Cut Throats Nine follows a wagonload of convicts as they travel the northern mountains to carry out their death sentences. Following a surprise attack from a gang of bandits, only the sergeant, his beautiful young daughter and seven of the most sadistic, murderous men alive survive the assault. CUT THROATS NINE in an original crowd pleasing experience that pushes the relatively subdued excesses of both the western and the horror movie into creative new territory.
Cut Throats Nine is set to go into production in Toronto in early 2010.
Free Flick of the Day: Sleeping Dogs Lie
Thursday, October 22, 2009 9:42 AM | From Cinematical
You may have heard about Bobcat Goldthwait's current film, World's Greatest Dad, possibly from all the raving various people at Cinematical have done about it. It's an outrageously dark comedy -- but that should be no surprise if you've seen any of Bobcat's previous films, including Sleeping Dogs Lie, which I've chosen as AOL/SlashControl's free flick of the day.
Sleeping Dogs Lie premiered under its original title, Stay, at Sundance in 2006, where its perverse subject matter was taboo even by Sundance standards. It's about a young woman who has fallen in love with a guy she hopes to marry, but she's not sure whether she can ever tell him about a certain embarrassing moment in her sexual history. It involves a dog, that's all I'm sayin'. Finally she takes the plunge and tells her boyfriend, and that's when the squirm-inducing comedy really takes off.
Not surprisingly, Goldthwait had a hard time finding a distributor for the movie. The best it ever got was a two-week run on six screens, grossing $15,745 in the U.S., but another $622,000 internationally. (Apparently this sort of thing plays better in foreign countries. Make of that what you will.) It's obviously not for everyone, but if you like bawdy, clever, shocking comedy, it's worth watching. It will almost certainly make you feel better about whatever shameful secrets you have in your own past.

Because we know you've been desperately waiting for it, the lovely Disney company has squeezed out a new trailer for Robin Williams/John Travolta comedy Old Dogs.
Yes, it's clear this is aimed at the kiddie-centric Wild Hogs crowd (even the name sort of rhymes), since it's loaded to the gills with pratfalls and slapstick.
And Seth Green being cradled by a gorilla.
It's essentially one extended scene from the film, which sees Williams and his comrades trying to get into a zoo for his daughter's birthday party. They break in, land in the gorilla's cage and mayhem ensues.
Hilarity? Er, judge for yourself…
Old Dogs, new trailer
Tuesday, October 20, 2009 9:42 PM | From Joblo.Com
Up until now I've had a big ol' zero interest in OLD DOGS, seeing as the last few comedies from either Travolta or Robin Williams have been a sore reminder that those two used to be great. Or at least better then this. Though seeing Seth friggin Green in there with them kinda adds a different touch that gave me an open mind towards the trailer. For a second.
Disney put up a new trailer for the film which is actually...

Funny Old Dogs Trailer
Monday, October 19, 2009 2:56 AM | From CanMag.Com
Please forgive us for our lack of coverage of Old Dogs. Teaming up John Travolta and Robin Williams in a Thanksgiving family film at first felt desperate, but the addition of Seth Green and a hilarious new er, trailer finally caught my attention.
Old Dogs Trailer
Two best friends -- one unlucky-in-love divorcee (Robin Williams) and the other a fun-loving bachelor (John Travolta) -- have their lives turned upside down when they're unexpectedly charged with the care of six-year-old twins while on the verge of the biggest business deal of their lives. The not-so-kid-savvy bachelors stumble in their efforts to take care of the twins (newcomers Ella Bleu Travolta and Conner Rayburn), leading to one debacle after another, and perhaps to a new-found understanding of what's really important in life.
