I know we're jumping ahead here, since Iron Man 2 is another six months out, but this a pretty good story, even though it's not necessarily something we haven't heard before. Actor Faran Tahir, who played Raza, the mysterious leader of the 10 Rings in the first Iron Man, was interviewed by Moviefone UK recently for Star Trek (he plays Captain Robau in that). The interviewer jokingly says that he's probably always asked about Mandarin and Iron Man 3, yet continues to ask the question. However, Tahir's answer hints that the villain Mandarin might still pop up in the third movie, whenever it gets made sometime in the future.
"Jon Favreau and [the producers] are not stupid. They're also listening in on all of this and wanting to get the pulse of where the audience is. But at some point, they want to introduce Mandarin into the storyline and my character, ...

Checking back in with next summer’s most anticipated movie, Iron Man 2, we have some new updates about War Machine, the armored battle suit worn by Jim “Rhodey” Rhodes, who will be played by Don Cheadle in the sequel, taking over the role from Iron Man’s Terrence Howard. The first update comes from Cheadle himself, talking [...]

New Iron Man 2 Behind The Scenes Video
Wednesday, October 14, 2009 8:21 PM | From Screen Rant
The folks over at Geek Tyrant dug up a wonderful seven minute behind-the-scenes look at Iron Man 2. The video, which comes from the French movie channel Canal Plus includes enough behind-the-scenes tidbits to calm even the most rabid of Iron Man fans (for 7 minutes, at least).
Now, I know you’re thinking that because this [...]
Speculation has swirled about whether or not Jon Favreau would direct The Avengers for Marvel after he finishes Iron Man 2. Now we know the answer: he will not. And furthermore, Ed Norton will not appear in Iron Man 2. So there.
MTV talked to Favreau about The Avengers while he was promoting Couples Retreat, and his statement about directing the film was quite clear:
They'll have to [find a different director], because I'm not going to be available. It's something I'm being the executive producer on, so I'll definitely have input and a say. Its going to be hard, because I was so involved in creating the world of Iron Man and Iron Man is very much a tech-based hero, and then with Avengers youre going to be introducing some supernatural aspects because of Thor. How you mix the two of those works very well in the comic books, but its ...
Behind The Scenes Of Iron Man 2
Wednesday, October 14, 2009 12:14 PM | From Latino Review
I can still remember the first Iron Man coming out with the awesome trailer that made everyone suddenly pay attention. B-Grade Marvel character, we all thought. B-Grade.Not so. The drip-drop of leaks and information coming off that set were the Twilight before Twilight. New Iron Man photo! Tony Stark in a suit! And we loved it.Now, Jon Favreau is back in the director's chair for Iron Man 2 with Robert Downey Jr returning to play Tony Stark and Jon knows that we're all clamouring for information out here. Sure we've seen some teasers and leaked Comic Con 2009 footage, but where's the constant flow of cool Iron Man stuff that the first movie was so good at leaking?Oh. Here it is:Storyboard artist John Mann worked on Iron Man 2. He can't show you anything that relates to spoilerish plot points, but he does want to get more work, so he's posted an Iron Man 2 storyboard slide show on his personal website you can access by clicking the storyboard below:
If that's not enough of a behind-the-scenes look for you, there is over 7 minutes of video from French site CanalPlus.Fr that shows Tony Stark's lab, including his new invention: a personal particle accelerator. Also, Jon Favreau talks about why it's easier to do a super hero movie sequel than a comedy sequel and Robert Downey Jr talks about the differences of fighting as Iron Man and fighting as Sherlock Holmes. Many a fanboy has expressed their hopes of Disney crossing Marvel characters into their universes, whether it be a Pixar made Marvel superhero film or Mickey Mouse sporting an Iron Man costume. The licensing/merchandising ideas are endless since the mouse house bought Marvel Entertainment. That being said I have always wondered what would happen if Iron Man [...]
The Women of Iron Man
Thursday, October 1, 2009 2:35 PM | From Latino Review
Iron Man 2 has me pumped and raring to go, but we're still pretty far off from the May 2010 release date. So until then I'll have to satisfy myself with these cast interviews with the ladies of Iron Man.
First up we have Gwyneth Paltrow who played Pepper Potts in the original film. She explains that her character, who is the assistant to Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark, has plenty of sexual tension with her boss but that she still feels threatened by new hire Natasha Romanoff.
Ah Natasha aka Black Widow, who can forget to mention that redheaded beauty played by Scarlett Johansson? Not us, and certainly not ET. They spoke to Johansson about what it was like to join the "boys' club" of Iron Man.
You can check out both interviews below, courtesy of ET.

Is This Crimson Dynamo From Iron Man 2?

Game Revolution posted an early preview for the upcoming Iron Man 2 video game tie-in, which is trying to distance itself from the awful Iron Man 1 tie-in game. The Iron Man 2 game will supposedly act as a companion piece with the movie, rather than a re-hashed playthrough of the film’s story.
In their report, [...]
