Thursday, November 12, 2009 5:52 AM | From POPSUGAR

Gwyneth Paltrow was up early in London yesterday for another day of bringing Apple and Moses to school. The family spent their Summer in California as Gwyneth finished work on Iron Man 2, but now they're busy getting back to their English roots and routine despite some drama with dad Chris Martin. Moses didn't bring his special furry friend along to class today, but he seemed to be having a ball skipping down the street with his sister for company.

Script and direction are by Stuart St. Paul based on the true story of a killer that targeted Alaskan towns in the '80s. You don't know St. Paul's name, but you know his work; he's been a stunt guy for over 30 years with credits including Aliens, some of the Roger Moore Bond films and the recent Red Riding productions. [THR] After the break, news for Goran Visnjic and Gwyneth Paltrow. Gwyneth Paltrow joins The Danish Girl

Monday, November 9, 2009 5:40 AM | From Total Film

Gwyneth Paltrow has agreed to join the cast of The Danish Girl, which Thomas Alfredson is directing.

Nicole Kidman has been attached for a while to the tale of Einar Wegener, who became the world's first post-operative transsexual, and Greta, the wife who supported him.

Kidman will play Einar both sides of the op and Paltrow is signed up to play Greta, a portrait painter who first experienced her husband's gender issues when he stepped in for a female model she was working with.

He ended up becoming Lilli, and Greta stood by him until she realised that the man she married no longer exists.

There's no word on exactly when Alfredson will start directing as the film is still locking down financing, but with the star power attached, it should get going early next year.

Can this work? And could it nab Kidman another award?

Gwyneth Paltrow Stands By Her Man: Nicole Kidman

Saturday, November 7, 2009 4:12 PM | From Cinema Blend
Even though she's one great part of the insanely entertaining Iron Man, Gwyneth Paltrow hasn't been notable for her acting in years. Since marrying Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and raising their two kids, she's become more notable for stuff like traveling around Europe with Mario Batali, and founding the laughably snooty lifestyle site Goop.com, which encourages readers to "nourish the inner aspect." But after a promisingly low-key turn in James Gray's Two Lovers earlier this year, Paltrow is taking ... Read Article
