"Trauma" - 30 clips from the series premiere!

Thursday, November 19, 2009 11:48 AM | From MovieJungle

Check out a big 30 clips from the series premiere of NBC's "Trauma," starring Cliff Curtis, Anastasia Griffit, Derek Luke, Aimee Garcia, Jamey Sheridan, Kevin Rankin and Taylor Kinney.

The series premiere takes place on September 28th between 9 and 10 p.m. ET with an Encore broadcast due on Saturday.

From executive producer Peter Berg (NBC’s "Friday Night Lights") comes "Trauma,"the first high-octane medical drama series to live exclusively in the field where the real action is. Like an adrenaline shot to the heart, "Trauma" is an intense, action-packed look at one of the most dangerous medical professions in the world: first responder paramedics. When emergencies occur, the trauma team from San Francisco City Hospital is first on the scene, traveling by land, by sea or by air to reach their victims in time. From the heights of the city’s Transamerica Pyramid to the depths of the San Francisco Bay, these heroes must face the most extreme conditions to save lives -- and give meaning to their own existence in the process.

Starring in "Trauma" are Cliff Curtis ("Push") as daredevil flight medic Reuben "Rabbit" Palchuk, Derek Luke ("Notorious") as stoic paramedic Cameron Boone, Anastasia Griffith ("Damages") as strong-willed paramedic Nancy Carnahan, Aimee Garcia ("George Lopez") as tough rookie helicopter pilot Marisa Benez, Kevin Rankin ("Friday Night Lights") as edgy EMT Tyler Briggs, Taylor Kinney ("Fashion House") as rookie EMT Glenn Morris, and Jamey Sheridan ("Law & Order: Criminal Intent") as mentor Dr. Joe Saviano.

"Trauma" is a production of Universal Media Studios and Film 44. Berg, Sarah Aubrey ("The Kingdom," "Friday Night Lights"), Jeffrey Reiner ("Friday Night Lights"), Peter Noah ("The West Wing") and series creator Dario Scardapane serve as executive producers. The pilot was written by Scardapane and directed by Reiner.

Monday, November 2, 2009 6:28 AM | From POPSUGAR

Heidi Klum went all out for her 10th annual Halloween party at Voyeur in LA on Saturday. She and Seal looked amazing as they arrived dressed as black crows just weeks after welcoming their new daughter Lou. Heidi's party is always huge and she revealed that the elaborate costume planning starts every year in July. Rachel Zoe looked beautiful dressed as an Indian warrior princess with her hippie husband Rodger, while the ladies of the Vampire Diaries posed together on the red carpet. Paris and Doug managed to stand out in the crowded club when they arrived in matching white tutus dressed as swan princesses.

Once inside, Heidi and Seal mingled with guests, looking unrecognizable in their incredible masks and face paint. The photo loving pair took pictures all night long as Heidi kicked off her hot boots and got comfortable on the couch. Jessica Alba and Cash Warren arrived with friends bouncing between parties as Dora the Explorer and Diego. "Madea Goes to Jail" - Poster up!

Wednesday, June 3, 2009 6:59 PM | From MovieJungle

The first poster is up for the next installment in the "Madea" series from Tyler Perry. Check out the onesheet from "Madea Goes to Jail."

Well-designed poster cleverly brings out dramatic elements of the Perry comedy. The Atlanta-based filmmaker markets his name more than any I've seen with Tyler Perry ahead of every single film. Since "Diary of a Mad Black Woman," the films have being bringing in a hefty sum from low budgets and familiar names for the most part.

This time America's favorite irreverent, pistol-packin' grandmomma is raising hell behind bars and lobbying for her freedom...Hallelujer!

After a high-speed freeway chase puts Madea (TYLER PERRY) in front of the judge, her reprieve is short-lived as anger management issues get the best of her and land her in jail.  A gleeful Joe (TYLER PERRY) couldn't be happier at Madea's misfortune.  But Madea's eccentric family members the Browns (DAVID and TAMALA MANN) rally behind her, lending their special "country" brand of support.

Meanwhile, Assistant District Attorney Joshua Hardaway (DEREK LUKE) is on the fast track to career success. But Hardaway lands a case too personal to handle - defending young prostitute and former drug addict Candace Washington (KEISHA KNIGHT PULLIAM) - and asks his fiancée and fellow ADA Linda Holmes (ION OVERMAN) to fill in on his behalf.  When Candace ends up in jail, Madea befriends the young woman, protecting her in a "motherly" way as only Madea can.
