Director Roland Emmerich Exclusive Video Interview 2012. Plus He Talks About His Upcoming Shakespeare Movie
Thursday, November 12, 2009 6:00 PM | From Collider
Opening tomorrow is director Roland Emmerich’s 2012. As you probably know, 2012 is about a global cataclysm that causes massive destruction to our planet. If you’re keeping count, this is Emmerich’s third time blowing up the world (Independence Day, The Day After Tomorrow) and I think he’s learned from his previous efforts to deliver his [...]
Exclusive: Stuart Beattie talks TARZAN, HALO, BRA-BOYS, SPHYHUNTER, TOMORROW WHEN THE WAR BEGAN, WITHOUT REMORSE
The other day I spoke with to screenwriter Stuart Beattie about his work on “G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra”. We did a phone interview as he’s currently in Australia scouting locations and prepping his first feature “Tomorrow, When the War Began”. In a few weeks I’ll post everything he said about “Joe”, but today I [...]
Stuart Beattie Talks Halo, Tarzan and Tomorrow, When the War Began
Stuart Beattie is starting to promote G.I Joe: The Rise of Cobra, but he's got a lot more projects to talk about. Beattie was recently announced as the writer/director who would adapt the Australian book series that begins with Tomorrow, When the War Began, and he's got a Tarzan script and a Halo spec that he's trying to get off the ground. SciFiWire parceled all the info from their interview over a series of articles (here, here and here), and we've collected it back together for you.
"It's very much more in the style of, say, Black Hawk Down," Beattie said of Tomorrow, When the War Began. "I mean, it's a war. It's the invasion of a country. So it's much more grounded, of course, [than G.I. Joe]." The film won't be packed with action scenes, but hopefully the ones that are in the mix will be memorable. "[There are] only ...

Lazy Sunday: Can You Find All 50 Movies In Empires Cryptic Canvas?
Tomorrow is Memorial Day and while we should be honoring the dead, we will most likely be honoring them in our own special fashion: barbecues and sleeping in. But since you probably don’t have work tomorrow, may I suggest spending the next 48 hours trying to squeeze every last piece of movie knowledge from your [...]

Early Trailer for G.I. Joe!
Thursday, April 30, 2009 1:49 PM | From CanMag.Com
Just when we thought we'd have to wait until tomorrow for the G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra trailer, a 'French' version has been released even earlier. Best part is that this French version is likely to be exactly what we're going to see tomorrow, just with subtitles. Sweet!
G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra
As you might expect, tons of new footage is to be seen in the trailer for G.I. Joe. While some of the early buzz claims the film is sort of a mess, the visuals here are so geeky that they go full circle and become cool again. I can dig it.
Tomorrow there is a film coming out that all fans of 50s Sci-Fi movies need to see. That film is Alien Trespass. I will post my full review of the film tomorrow but I wanted ...
Tomorrow is my birthday. Go ahead, think up a witty little joke about how I must have been an April Fool’s joke on my parents. I have heard them all. Nearly as important as tomorrow being an excuse for me to eat as many pieces of cake and pie with total absolution is the fact [...]
