It's really happening. Ridley Scott is making another Alien movie. Today we've learned a little bit more about the project, which is all kinds of intriguing.
Empire got the opportunity to sit down with Ridley and discuss one of the genre's most anticipated projects. Here's what he had to say:
Its a brand new box of tricks, said Sir Ridley. We know what the road map is, and the screenplay is now being put on paper. The prequel will be a while ago. Its very difficult to put a year on Alien, but [for example] if Alien was towards the end of this century, then the prequel story will take place thirty years prior.
This is just the beginning of this one ... I'm sure we'll be bringing you LOTS and LOTS more info.
