Slater talks about playing to characters in the same body - Edward, an operative who speaks multiple languages and Henry, a married man (to Madchen Amick). He talks about his favorite actors in the spy genre, the show's twists and turns as well as the projects he is most proud of in his career.
The show has its series premiere on Monday, October 13th on NBC at 10/9C. Jason Smilovic ("Lucky Number Slevin") is the executive producer. David Semel directs for Universal Media Studios.
What's the show about?
Henry (Slater) is a middle-class efficiency expert living a humdrum life in the suburbs with his wife, Angie (Madchen Amick), their two kids, a dog, and a minivan, Edward (Slater) is an operative who speaks nine languages, runs a four-minute mile, and is trained to kill. Albright works at Janus Headquarters for Mavis Hellar (Alfre Woodard), a tough, extremely intelligent woman with a hidden compassionate side. Henry and Edward are polar opposites who share only one thing in common - the same body. When the carefully constructed wall between them breaks down, Henry and Edward are thrust into unfamiliar territory where each man is dangerous out of his element.

Samuel Goldwyn Films has picked up U.S. distribution rights to the drama "American Violet" which Tim Disney helms.
Written by Bill Haney ("The Price of Sugar"), the film is based on true events and tells of a mother in Texas who's mistakenly swept up during a drug raid.
Alfre Woodard and newcomer Nicole Beharie star. Also in the cast are Tim Blake Nelson, Michael O'Keefe and Charles S. Dutton. This is apparently due for release by Samuel Goldwyn Films in March next year.
The studio has a strong reputation with some indie gems on offer, the most recent including "Trumbo," "2 Days in Paris," "Fugitive Pieces," "Goya's Ghosts" and the recent box office surprise "Fireproof" starring Kirk Cameron which is still enjoying the fruits of its labor.
Even though Dee has no prior drug record and no drugs were found on her in the raid or any subsequent searches and her indictment is based on the word of a single and dubious police informant facing his own drug charges -

17 Again from Warner Bros. Pictures contends for the top spot at this weekends box office and is Zac Efron frontlines the film with Matthew Perry, Leslie Mann, Sterling Knight and Michelle Trachtenberg also thrown in the mix. The comedy opens in 3,255 venues and is helmed by Burr Steers (Igby Goes Down). The film review scored an average 2.5/5 from Movie Jungle.
Universal sends out their Russell Crowe, Ben Affleck, Rachel McAdams, Helen Mirren, Robin Wright Penn, Jason Bateman and Jeff Daniels-powered drama/thriller State of Play which Kevin Macdonald (The Last King of Scotland) helms. Film hits 2,803 venues. We highly recommend this release with an almost perfect 4.5/5 review score.
Jason Statham returns in the wacky Crank: High Voltage. The Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor-directed high-octane actioner unspools in 2,223 locations. The first film opened on September 1st, 2006 and grossed over $27.8 million domestically and $16.9 million overseas.

Every Little Step The Sony Pictures Classics documentary plays in two New York and Los Angeles theatres. James D. Stern and Adam Del Deo direct.
Lymelife Showing in four theatres. The Derick Martini-directed film stars Alec Baldwin, Kieran Kulkin, Rory Culkin, Jill Hennessy, Timothy Hutton, Cynthia Nixon and Emma Roberts.
American Violet Gets a sixty one theatre run with a talented Alfre Woodard, Nicole Beharie, Tim Blake Nelson, Michael O'Keefe and Charles S. Dutton in the cast. Samuel Goldwyn Films releases the drama.
Is Anybody There? Sir Michael Caine returns to the screen in the John Crowley film distributed by Big Beach. There are six theatres which show this one.

Lionsgate has picked up feature rights to Ntozake Shanges stage play For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf. Music video helmer Nzingha Stewart will direct and adapt the film. The play was first performed back in 1975 then made into a 1982 telepic for American Playhouse which starred Shange, Laurie Carlos, Trazana Beverly, Alfre Woodard and Lynn Whitfield
The play consists of 20 poems which tell of love, domestic abuse, abandonment among other issues faced by many black women. Lionsgate said at its announcement on Wednesday - leadership role in producing and distributing a diverse roster of motion pictures about black characters.
