60 Minutes Covers Avatar

Monday, November 23, 2009 5:24 PM | From Latino Review
James Cameron's Avatar is less than a month away and everything from the running time (estimated at 156 minutes, so far) to its 3D element (will it be the game-changer that Cameron has promised?) is up for discussion. That's why yesterday, 60 Minutes aired an approximately 13-minute segment about all things Avatar, taking viewers behind-the-scenes of the set and into Cameron's own office and mind regarding his work on the project. You can check out the embedded video below for the segment. As much as I may raise an eyebrow at Avatar's story and dialogue, 60 Minutes gives an interesting look at all of the tech it took to make Avatar possible. Avatar on 60 Minutes!

Monday, November 23, 2009 12:40 AM | From CanMag.Com
After predicting that this week would be the beginning of some massive campaigning for Avatar, I am glad to see that our first media update is a 60 Minutes segment for the film. No, not sixty-minutes long, a segment that showed on 60 Minutes.

Avatar on 60 Minutes
60 Minutes does show some Avatar footage, but the program's focus is on the film's claims to revolutionize Hollywood with what some are calling the next step in the evolution of 3D. After seeing the trailer for the film in 3D, I think they could be right. The only thing that sucks about the video is that it is loaded with commercials. (sorry for that) Read Article

Watch The First Five Minutes Of The Bookdock Saints II

Monday, October 26, 2009 9:35 PM | From Latino Review
IGN has the first five minutes of the Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day movie, the sequel to the cult hit Boondock Saints. Now I haven't seen Boondock Saints in a long time and I don't remember it being as cheesy as this first five minute clip is. You mean to tell me the boys are wearing the worst fake beards in history and the father and Poppa M wait inside the room while they leave, go dig up their box, cut their hair, shave off  their beards, shower (why are there ass shots?), get dressed, then come back? Are the two that bored they'd wait there for all that? Then it gets even weirder with three keystone cops and some serious editing issues when they cut to the one guy with the beard that keeps saying how fucked they are. Anyway, it's the first five minutes, so I can't really judge shit until I've seen the whole thing. You guys make up your own minds. Check out the first five minutes below. It asks for your age, so just lie or do whatever is is you young whippersnappers do nowadays to watch R rated clips on the internet.
