Boiling Pot Trailer (2015)

Trailer for Boiling Pot.

Based on true events.

Four college students drag a young black man through the woods on a cold night. They drag his body until they reach a tree with a high branch. They throw up a noose and lynch him.

It’s October 2008, and America is on the brink of the most influential election of all time. On a college campus, the depths of racism in modern day society are brought to life.

Boiling Pot is the story of racism in America unfolding through different characters of various backgrounds. There is no apparent antagonist, nor is there a clear hero. Rather, every character, if pushed far enough, will exhibit prejudiced characteristics. That is what distinguishes Boiling Pot from other films that have addressed racism. Everyone is flawed.

Boiling Pot puts the audience in the shoes of these characters, as their lives are changed forever in a time of high tension in America. The result is a controversial story, and a film that becomes an unforgettable experience.
