Watch Keanu Reeves Suit Up For John Wick: Chapter 2 In Fresh Clip

Warner Brothers and Summit Entertainment might of had some apprehension about 2014's John Wick, bringing an ageing Keanu Reeves into the fold as a lead action hero with two stunt coordinators by trade to direct. Fast forward three years and, with a sequel on the cusp of release in John Wick: Chapter 2, the blockbuster series is now a well established member of the action genre.

Earlier in the week, a new featurette was provided to demonstrate just how much work goes on behind the scenes to get the actors prepared for the showpiece installment. Alongside Common and Ruby Rose punching, jumping, shooting and kicking ass, we can now see Reeves arriving in Italy as he gets a fresh suit for the occasion.

Social Assassin Must Look The Part

The 60 seconds of footage is only a small glimpse into the 2 hour production that is sure to pack in a ton of action. Yet the subtlety that makes the character of John Wick watchable is his cool and calculating demeanor. Asking for a suit that is best for a social event, class. Requiring one for the day and one for night, as well as having two buttons for the Italian-styled get up, the world's deadliest assassin is all business as he enters Europe on a kill and destroy mission.

With David Leitch leaving the project to go and helm Marvel's Deadpool 2 with Ryan Reynolds, the task of matching the achievements of the original lie completely with the responsibilities of Chad Stahelski. Although they might miss a bit of talent behind the camera, they have beefed up their stocks in front of it to include the likes of John Leguizamo, Lance Reddick, Ian McShane, Laurence Fishburne, Ruby Rose, Riccardo Scamarcio, Peter Serafinowicz and Common.

New Dog Is A Loyal Companion

Before Wick had time for that stylish makeover to be kitted in an all-black attire that is sure to strike fear in his enemies, this additional clip outlines that the character has a loyal companion on hand. Having seen his old pooch get taken out in the original, the assassin has a cute little alibi on hand as he re-enters The Continental Hotel.

The February 10 release has already garnered a lot of hype in the lead up. Seeing an all-star cast deliver on the action sequences that made the first so memorable. With a touch of charm thrown in for good measure, it is likely to hit the mark as accurately as he hits his would-be killers.
