Star Wars: Episode VIII Spoilers Claim Luke Skywalker Has Still Got It!

It turns out that though Luke barely made the cut for The Force Awakens, his stock goes up a ton in Star Wars: Episode VIII. But, be warned, the news coming from the film's set is full of Death Star-sized spoilers. So much so that I had to cover my eyes in an attempt to copy and paste it. How much can somebody take from watching production unfold on set? A lot, actually.

Set Report Provides Episode VIII Spoilers

Without going into too much depth, the general feedback we saw in our quick glimpse was that Luke Skywalker is making up for lost time. After being nearly non-existent in Episode VII, the character is back in a major way. While the idea of him mentoring Rey was an obvious, his involvement in the broader story was unknown. At least, until now. If you don't want to drop into the spoilers below, just know that Luke still has the ability to kick a ton of ass. Possibly moreso than we've ever seen before. In short, he's old but definitely not diminished.

Tickled your fancy? Well, the report is below courtesy of MakingStarWars and StarWarsUnion. We've provided an image as your last chance of turning around before having a very important scene somewhat deconstructed.

And, just in case you thought one more tidbit might satisfy your appetite, know that the action required lots of wire work. Now we're wondering if this can relate at all to Mark Hamill shaving off his beard.
