The aesthetics of the Batsuit might appear like an aside, but they do end up becoming iconic features of the film. In the previous installment, Affleck's militarized outfit provided a stale, bulky and disguised character that offered no insight into his emotion as he labored from one scene to the next.

This "Tactical Batsuit" might be a nod to Christian Bale's Dark Knight, exposing the Bruce Wayne character more to the elements and utilizing his physical strength. But the night goggles are something unique. Some might even say that they bare a striking resemblance to Night Owl from Watchmen, a film that Snyder also happened to direct.
