Gal Gadot Wants Halle Berry As Love Interest For Sequel

In a saucy scoop for Batman-News, they revealed that Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot has identified the one and only Halle Berry as a potential lover for her standalone sequel. Scissor me timbers! With comic book writer Greg Rucka going public to say that the character is bisexual, Gadot is taking the concept and running with it. Starting by championing the cause of Berry. The only catch is that she would have to cross the Marvel divide. Considering the franchise having made Storm such an icon with the X-Men films.

Speaking with an Israeli talk show called “Good Night with Guy Pines”, Gadot gave a glowing endorsement of Berry in her local dialect.

“I saw her the other day, Halle Berry," said the superhero actress. "She’s so beautiful. Wow! She’s gorgeous! So… yeah, I could do it with her.”

WW Trailer Given Retro Treatment

Inverse reports that the trailer for the 2017 blockbuster has been given something of a makeover with the audio and music from the 1975 original playing over the top. Linda Carter's depiction some 41 years previous didn't have the bells and whistles of this modern DC incarnation, but it certainly adds a unique spin on the modern version.

The retro remake illustrates how different the two pictures are for tone and subject matter. Gadot's taken a kick ass first, ask questions later approach while Carter mixed her life as Diana Prince. All before transitioning into the superhero fitted with a flimsy saturn attire custom to 70s culture. Chalk and cheese.

DC Will Take Inspiration From Doctor Strange Success

Doctor Strange Quad

Forbes reports that the huge gate over the weekend from Doctor Strange will give a boost to those on the superhero divide at DC. The enormous $85m domestically from the Marvel blockbuster was an origin story that resonated with critics and audiences around the world. Something that could be a sign of encouragement for those working on Wonder Woman. The production hopes it can replicate the same success next year.

Arguing that the preparation to fit a new hero inside an already established multiverse will lend itself to better story lines and chronologically, the franchise can pack in and crossover at will. Ensembles are all the rage right now.

And, like we saw with Thor elbowing into the Cumberbatch picture just in time, we could be in store for a similar occurrence in 2017 for Gadot and co. But don't bet on Halle Berry .... yet.
