Chris Hemsworth Addresses Marriage Split Rumors On Instagram

If tabloids are the scorn of Hollywood, then Australia have their own issues with scandalous rumors and innuendo. According to Mashable, Thor himself is experiencing a rocky ride with Womans Day magazine.

The publication posted a story about Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky to explain they were on the verge of splitting up.

The editorial did not paint a pretty picture, while also putting the 33-year old Aussie and his Spanish partner in an awkward position. Do they address the problem front on or leave the gossip to the gossipers? Going on to say the marriage is a sham and the couple were living in different quarters, the part-time Marvel superhero used a unique approach to respond.

Thor All At Sea On A Voyage For A "New Wife"

Posting an image next to his wife on a boat out at a sparkling blue sea on Instagram, Hemsworth thought a bit of humor would not go astray to address the scuttlebutt. Clearly the comedy role in Ghostbusters has been good grounding for these moments.

The caption read, "Looking for a new wife according to @womansdayaus and other misleading outlets! Honey you still love me right?! @elsapatakyconfidential #thanksforthe headsup."

Over 486,000 likes and 3,200 comments later, it would appear that Womans Day have been put back in their box. Although anyone who knows the tabloid understands that a large portion of their material are consistently discredited for being factually inaccurate.

Will Ragnork Feature A Surprise Superhero Cameo?

Thor: Ragnarok

Digital Spy reports that the third installment of Thor could very well bring in the latest addition to MCU when it hits cinemas in 2017. Thor: Ragnarok might see Doctor Strange return to the big screen. At least, according to a very credible source - director Scott Derrickson.

Talking about fitting in Benedict Cumberbatch's character to an established franchise, Derrickson said, "I didn't have challenge there - (Doctor Strange) is such a standalone movie. But I also know the MCU so well, so I kinda knew how it all worked... It was fun to be shooting and have (Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige) show up on set one day and tell us, 'By the way, this is what we're going to be doing in Thor: Ragnarok, and then to sort of pitch me the whole movie. I'm on the inside now. That's fun!"

Fair warning - stick around for the end credits of Doctor Strange and see if Derrickson is on the money.
